Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday April 28th at 7 pm in the Latham Library on Thetford Hill.

Mary Roach’s “Bonk” , about sex research, resulted in a vigorous and entertaining discussion and a large turnout.   After sex, what better topic for discussion than death!

The book chosen for discussion is “Being Mortal” by Atul Gawande,  about living one’s very best life until the end, and how modern medicine can help or hinder us in this, and what we can do to influence how we are treated.

The book may be available at your local library, through interlibrary loan, from your favorite local bookstore, or online via www.bookfinder.com, the aggregator site for books, both new and secondhand, from booksellers large and small all over the world.
