Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday February 25th at 7 pm in the
Latham Memorial Library on Thetford Hill.

We all enjoyed Gerald Durrell’s “My Family and Other Animals” so much that
we decided to read another of his books, about his trip to Madagascar to
search for a very unusual animal called an aye-aye.   The title, as you
might expect, is “The Aye-Aye and I”.    One of our participants was
fortunate enough to come across some of the videos of Durrell’s adventures,
including the trip to Madagascar, so that may be an additional pleasure.

As usual, the book may be obtained from your local library, through
interlibrary loan, from your favorite local bookstore, or via
www.bookfinder.com, the aggregator booksearch site (includes Amazon, Barnes
& Noble and many, many others, including international booksellers.   It’s
a wonderful place to look for out of print books.)
