On Thursday evening from 7-8, candidate for Director of the Thetford Public Libraries Loona Brogan will make a formal presentation of about 15 minutes responding to this prompt:  “Please share your vision for leading the public libraries in Thetford in the specific context of our community, location, and the times in which we live. What does it mean to lead a small, rural, public library in the 21st century? Please describe how you, as the Director, can achieve that vision.”  These sessions will be held in the Latham Library Community Room and via Zoom, and will be followed by a discussion session with an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates.
Loona has served as the Interim Library Director at the Jericho Town Library in Jericho, VT and was  Library Director at the Cutler Memorial Library from 2010-2020. She also served as Executive Director, Bookmobile Librarian at the Franklin Grand Isle Bookmobile and has worked as a Circulation Desk Staff Member at Montpelier’s Hubbard Library.
