Our own local NASA Scientist Tara Tomlinson will guide us through a celebration of exploration, sharing a glimpse into her work on the soon-to-launch Europa Clipper mission to Jupiter’s icy moon, along with poetry reflecting on this and other expeditions throughout history.
Strap in, bring a poem to share if you’re so moved, and marvel at mankind’s impulse to investigate, illustrate and illuminate our world…and all that lay beyond!
P.S. For more information about the Europa Clipper mission, visit https://europa.nasa.gov/, and be sure to stop by Latham the first week of October to see a model of the moon and the spacecraft heading its way!
