Mango is a personalized, adaptive language learning tool that Thetford patrons can use for free. You can choose from over 70 world languages and dialects through courses for adults and children. Family profiles are also available.

To get started:

1. (We recommend using a computer to complete this step.) Go to https://connect.mangolanguages.com/thetfordlibrary/start and click “Sign Up” to create a profile. You’ll be prompted to enter:
   • Your email address;
   • Library card number (Thetford cards begin with 2050750000 followed by your 4-digit number);
   • PIN (the default is the last four digits of your phone number);
   • A password of your choosing.
2. Click Sign Up.
3. (After setting up your profile online, we recommend switching to the mobile app for the best experience.) On a phone, tablet or other mobile device, download the Mango Languages Learning app.
4. Open the app and sign in.
5. Select a language to begin!

To set up a family profile:

Each Mango profile can get up to five additional profiles to help track and view progress for your family members.

1. Open the Mango app.
2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner to access the menu.
3. Tap Family Profiles, then tap the +Add button.
4. Enter name, create a username & password, and tap Create Profile.
