Our next meeting will take place at Thetford’s Latham Library on Tuesday
May 26th (the day after Memorial Day) at 7 pm.
We will be discussing two short books by Helene Hanff, “84 Charing Cross
Road” and “Apple Of My Eye”, having decided we needed a little light relief
after the well-attended and vigorous discussion of Atul Gawande’s “Being
Mortal”.

For those of you who missed our discussion, another one, sponsored by a
different organization, will be scheduled in June. Watch out for the
announcement.

You may find the books at your local library, via interlibrary loan, at
your favorite local bookstore or online via www.bookfinder.com, the
aggregator website for booksellers from all over the world.
The books are available as e-books from both Amazon and Barnes and Noble,
for those of you who prefer bytes to paper and ink.
