The next meeting of Thetford’s informal nonfiction book discussion group
will take place at Latham Library on Thetford Hill on Tuesday January 30th
at 7 pm.
We will be discussing Birds, Beasts and Relatives by Gerald Durrell.
This book is the second volume of the Corfu Trilogy, about Durrell’s

animal collector and conservationist and a pioneer of breeding endangered
species in captivity, having founded his own zoo on the island of Jersey.
For those of you who read on Kindle, the whole trilogy is currently on sale
at a very reasonable price. The Corfu Trilogy: My Family and Other Animals; Birds, Beasts and Relatives; and The Garden of the Gods
