Celebrate St. Patricks Day at Peabody Library’s annual Irish Music Concert with Samantha Moffatt and friends!

Well-known area musician Samantha Moffatt will perform Irish music next Wednesday evening, March 18, at 7 pm at the Peabody Library in Post Mills, Vermont.  Sam, who will play hammered dulcimer, accordion and bodhran,  has invited traditional flute-maker Bryan Byrne, of Williamstown, and Flora Jestice, of Calais, to join her on flutes and violins–for a long set of Irish and Scottish reels, jigs, airs, and original pieces. This event, which has become a tradition, spotlights the fine acoustic qualities of an old building like The Peabody Library, musicians use no microphones when playing here. Admittance: free or donation.
