Come hear storyteller Simon Brooks spin yarns to kickoff our “Libraries Rock” summer reading program!  Folk and fairy tales are filled with rocks, from the fey living beneath rocky mountains, to not-so-smart heroes with rocks in their heads (or people thinking it so), to the stories of giants throwing rocks at one another.  Simon will be sharing stories for families and kids over the age of five, and reading from his new book of folk tales, “Under the Oaken Bough.”
Children will be able to sign up for a “Libraries Rock” reading log to keep track of books they read over the summer at this event.
