Our next book, “An Unexpected Light”, by Jason Elliot, is a memoir of his time in Afghanistan.    We are fortunate that one of our participants, Jeff Arnold, spent time in Afghanistan working for  NGOs there, and will be leading our discussion.
The meeting will take place at 7 pm on Tuesday October 29th at the Latham Library on Thetford Hill, and we look forward to seeing all armchair adventurers.
