On Saturday, December 8 at 11:00am we welcome two local authors reading from their new books for children.  Joshua Yunger, Strafford resident and art instructor at AVA, has recently written and illustrated a picture book called “Hippo and Monkey”, a delightful tale with beautiful illustrations.  Mr. Yunger also recently illustrated a children’s book by another local author, Henry Homeyer aka “The Gardening Guy”, who has published four books and writes a regular column in regional newspapers.  His new book, “Wobar and the Quest for the Magic Calumet”, is a fantasy-adventure about a boy, a cougar and a quest.  Both authors will read from and talk about the creation of their new books.  Books will be available for sale and
refreshments will be served.
