Monday, August 8 at 4:00 pm Modern Times Theater presents “The Perils of Mr. Punch” at Latham Library.  Mr. Punch, the world’s best-loved and most rascally hand puppet, keeps trying hard to be healthy, but he always gets it wrong. He needs help from smart children and their smart parents, to tell left from right and right from incorrect.

Modern Times Theater delights family audiences with their handmade wooden and papier mache puppets, in a modern Vermont update of the age-old Punch and Judy show. There will be live acoustic music on a variety of instruments, from the ukulele to the bicycle pump, as well as a thrilling puppet show, all calculated to delight and enlighten both children and their folks.
